Here at Fidelity House, we are constantly trying to put forward the best programming and activities for our community. We are dedicated to providing people of all ages, but especially children, a place where they can have fun, learn, and grow. As a part of our #GivingTuesday initiative, we asked the members of our FiHo community why they supported our establishment. We encourage anyone who has had a positive experience at Fidelity House to share your story with us! Here are some of their messages:
Years ago, as a young mother of two busy preschool boys, I learned about Fidelity House from a neighbor who encouraged me to join her there for Jazzercize! A few years later, this working mother chose to send her boys to FiHo for after-school activities, including basketball, indoor soccer, and Volunteer Club. Over the years, they also attended summer swim camp and, as middle-schoolers, particularly enjoyed Friday night dances with their friends.
I found the organization's leadership and staff to be caring and attentive, but not overbearing. Understanding that "kids will be kids," they modeled and encouraged good citizenship, volunteer participation, and giving back to the community. My children learned that all decisions, good and bad, have consequences.
